Pollen- free dwarf sunflower makes an excellent gift plant with long retail shelf life. The pollen- free plants do not aggravate allergies and there is no messy pollen to drop on furniture. Very mildew- tolerant Ballad produces well- formed, bright golden- yellow flowers with dark centres over shiny green foliage. Plants flower at a shorter height under short days; under long days in the Summer, plants are taller without growth regulators.
